Creative visualization can help you achieve success. First, you use your imagination to create a clear image, idea, or feeling that you wish to materialize—that is, your goals, your desired changes. When you continue to focus on that idea, picture, or feeling, you give it positive energy until it becomes reality. You concentrate on it until you actually achieve what you’ve been imagining.
Whatever you want, it starts in your mind. If you focus on what you want (rather than what you don’t want, what you fear, or your doubts), you will unleash your potential. As stated by William Hewitt, “If you can see it in your mind’s eye, you will have it.” Write down your goals every day or, at the least, once a week. That will serve as a roadmap which will guide you to where you want to go. This vision will act as a magnet, attracting just the right people and events that will enable you to move forward in spite of all the distractions, disappointments, and detours you encounter along the way. If you don’t develop this map, someone else will. Without a vision, you will let others define you. And, if you wander off course like that, you cannot succeed.
