Should I Schedule A Coaching Session?If you need help deciding whether coaching is for you, complete the following checklist by filling the blank with yes or no:1. ____ Could you use more clarity? Would you like help clarifying your goals and identifying patterns and recurrent themes that block you? 2. ____ Could you use some direction? Could you use some assistance seeing the options, listing their positives and negatives, and evaluating which alternative is best? 3. ____ Are you looking for more focus? Need help concentrating on what's truly important in your work, business, in your relationships, and your personal life? 4. ____ Do you lack decisiveness? Do you need to make quicker and better decisions to cut down on delays and improve the effectiveness of your actions? 5. ____ Do you have a shortage of available time? Could you find more free time if you had help eliminating some major time consumers? 6. ____ Do you sometimes do the wrong things instead of the most successful things? Are you concentrating on the 80% tasks which have less impact than the 20% tasks which have the most impact? 7. ____ Even if you are doing the right things, are you doing those things successfully? Or, are you forgetting efficiency and delegation? 8. ____ Are you following through? Sure, preparation and planning are important. But, have you avoided action by procrastinating? 9. ____ Are you lacking commitment? Not fully invested in the process of your goals? 10. ____ Do you lack support from others? Are you working with a dependable network of supporters or with a bunch of saboteurs? 11. ____ Could you use a better balance of work and play? Need help slowing down and managing your stress and time? 12. ____ Are you running out of energy? Could you reduce your stress level by eliminating energy drains, replacing them with energy fuelers, and by dealing more effectively with difficult situations and people? 13. ____ Are you feeling like you‘re missing out on a lot of FUN?
